File licence

These terms apply to every Ekumu Studio design. There are two licences: Personal, for files you buy or claim, and Commercial, for active Studio members.

| Share, sell or upload the files | No | No |
Personal licence
When you buy or claim a file, you can print that design as many times as you like, for yourself and as gifts.
- It covers only the specific designs you've bought or claimed.
- It's print only: print the file as supplied. Scaling and slicer settings for your own printer are fine; editing or remixing the design isn't.
- You can't sell the prints.
- You can't share, resell, upload or give away the files, in full or in part.
- Each file is licensed to your account. We may mark files so leaked copies can be traced.
Commercial licence (Studio members)
While your Studio membership is active, you can print, sell and customise any Ekumu design.
- It covers every design in the Ekumu catalogue, not just the files you've bought.
- Sell as many physical prints as you like, in any channel.
- Customise freely: modify, remix, recolour or combine designs, and sell prints of the results.
- It covers physical prints only. It never covers selling, sharing or sub-licensing the files themselves, including files you've modified.
- Credit Ekumu Studio as the designer when you list prints for sale.
- It ends when your membership ends. Prints you've already sold are fine; stop selling new ones from then.
Updates and support
- Members get free updated versions (CAD fixes and improvements) of every file they own. Non-members keep the version they bought.
- Download problems or a print that keeps failing: email hello@ekumustudio.com.
